You are invited to the Opening Reception for Merging Visions 2018: A Collaborative Exhibit of Art and Poetry on Sunday, October 21, from 2-4 pm at the Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N Charles St, Lewisville, TX.
The Merging Visions exhibition is a collaboration between the Denton Poets’ Assembly and the Visual Arts Society of Texas. Members from each group create pairings of art and poetry – either visual art inspired by a poem, or a poem inspired by a piece of visual art.
Come join the fun. There will be art, poetry readings, hand-painted globes by VAST members that will be auctioned, food and drink, and of course lots of interesting artists and poets to meet.
This event is free and open to the public.
The exhibition runs from October 20th through November 24th.
Gallery hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
