DALLAS (Aug. 20, 2018) – With a vision to democratize the art world and shatter the intimidation that often accompanies it, Bivins Gallery presents its latest art event, Psychedelic Robot. Featuring internationally-recognized, celebrity artists, this communal pop-up event is designed to engage audiences of all ages with immersive custom art exhibitions and meet and greets with the visionary creators themselves.

“We wanted to create an approachable artistic experience for the Dallas community with a unique and disruptive twist,” said Karen Bivins, Bivins Gallery co-owner. “Art should be affordable and accessible for everyone. We want the immersive environment of Psychedelic Robot to help grow curious spectators into seasoned collectors.”

Taking place Sept. 20-29 at Dallas’ iconic landmark, The Crescent, attendees will step into 12,000 square feet of engaging design and organic creation. From an enchanted forest, draping them in a curtain of white and ice blue, to stepping into the night sky with constellations dancing through the cosmos, Psychedelic Robot’s installations provide an experience audiences will want to capture and share.

Each artist will create their own world vignette within the space. Among them, not.travis, who will recreate his personal studio, working throughout the week on an all-new piece. Distinguished artists such as Punk Me Tender, Mr. Brainwash, LeCash, Bradley Theodore, Laura Moore, Brenda Bogart and many more will lend their creative hand as The Crescent transforms into an escapist Instagrammable exhibit of sights, sounds and textures. Artists will meet and mingle with attendees throughout the event, breaking the wall between creator and admirer.

Tickets for Psychedelic Robot are available in three different options. Patron Passes will be available for $35 for an hour’s admission on the exhibit’s ground floor. Collector Passes, $200, will provide a full day’s admission and access to the VIP lounge in the evening. Innovator Passes, $675, provide all-access to the event, exclusive meet and greets with the artists, VIP Lounge access and the guest’s choice of a signed, numbered limited edition print (valued at $350).

Art pieces inspired by the show’s aesthetic will be for sale throughout the event – from affordable hand-signed and hand-embellished limited edition works starting at $350, to original works of art ranging in price from $5,000 to $75,000. Merchandise, such as T-shirts, hats, posters and enamel pins featuring the Psychedelic Robot emblem, will also be available.

Nearby Klyde Warren Park will be a beneficiary of the event, with a percentage of proceeds being donated to the iconic art district gathering place.
